READY TO INVEST IN YOURSELF
Investment & FAQs
Choosing a therapist is an investment in your future self, your relationships, and your long-term peace of mind. By staying out-of-network, I am able to prioritize highly specialized, high-touch care—ensuring our work is guided by your clinical goals rather than an insurance company’s requirements.
Session Rates
Individual Therapy: $225 per 50-minute session.
Couples & Relationship Therapy: $275 per 55-minute session.
I maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots to support community accessibility. Please inquire for current availability.
Insurance & Reimbursement
I am an out-of-network provider. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be eligible for significant reimbursement (often 50–80% of the cost).
The Process: You pay for the session upfront. At the end of each month, I provide you with a Superbill.
The Support: You submit this document to your insurance provider (often via an app or their website), and they mail a check directly to you.
Tip: Call the number on the back of your card and ask, "What is my out-of-network reimbursement rate for outpatient mental health (CPT code 90834)?"

Working out-of-network offers you total privacy and clinical autonomy. Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to prove "medical necessity" and can audit your session notes or dictate how many sessions you are "allowed" to have. In my practice, your records remain confidential, and we determine the pace of your healing together.

Yes. To seek reimbursement via a Superbill, insurance companies require a standard ICD-10 diagnosis code to prove "medical necessity." We will discuss this together so you are fully informed about what is being shared with your provider. The benefit of being out-of-network is that while they receive a diagnosis, they cannot audit our full session notes or dictate our treatment plan.

No. You shouldn’t have to pay for your therapist’s education. I specialize in working with the Global Majority (POC), LGBTQ+ folks, and the ENM/Poly community. Whether we are discussing the nuances of code-switching or navigating New Relationship Energy (NRE), I speak your language so we can get straight to the work.

Yes. Research shows that virtual EMDR is just as effective as in-person sessions. We use HIPAA-compliant, specialized software that provides bilateral stimulation directly through your browser. Many clients find they can go deeper into the work because they are in the safety and comfort of their own home.
-
Not at all. While EMDR is the gold standard for PTSD, it is also incredibly effective for the "Little t" traumas that build up over time—like microaggressions, childhood emotional neglect, or the persistent anxiety of living in a marginalized body. If you feel "stuck" in a physical or emotional reaction, EMDR can help.

Virtual couples therapy is highly effective because we are working within the actual environment where your relationship happens. We use the same Gottman Method assessments and interventions as we would in an office. I will guide you through "state of the union" meetings and conflict management exercises in real-time, helping you build a "Sound Relationship House" from your own couch.
-
Not at all, I am Poly-Affirming. I don’t view non-monogamy as a "problem to be solved" or a symptom of attachment issues. As a Gottman-trained therapist, I apply the research-backed tools of communication and connection to your specific relationship structure. Whether you are navigating "The Four Horsemen" within a marriage or establishing new boundaries in an open dynamic, the goal is the same: building a relationship that feels secure and honest.

Yes! That is the beauty of a virtual practice. As long as you are physically located in California at the time of our session, we can work together. I provide specialized care to clients from San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and everywhere in between.
