INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual Therapy: When Holding It Together Isn’t Working Anymore
You’re capable, self-aware, and used to figuring things out. From the outside, you may look like you’re doing just fine. But anxiety, overthinking, relationship patterns, people-pleasing, family expectations, or old experiences can make life feel harder than it should.
You don't need another space to simply talk about what's wrong. You need a therapist who can understand what's underneath the pattern and help you create meaningful change.
How We Work Together
Talk Therapy That Actually Moves Somewhere
We’ll make space for what’s happening in your life right now—your relationships, work, family, identity, and the decisions you're trying to make. I’m not a therapist who simply sits back and nods. I’ll offer perspective, ask the questions that matter, challenge you when it’s useful, and help you develop practical ways of responding differently.
When the Past Is Still Showing Up — EMDR
Past experiences can continue to influence how we feel, respond, and relate long after they’re over. You may understand what happened and still find yourself reacting in ways that feel bigger than the situation.
EMDR helps process unresolved experiences so they carry less emotional charge and have less influence over your present. We can work with significant trauma as well as experiences that may not have looked traumatic at the time but continue to shape how you see yourself and move through the world.
Identity, Culture & Relationships
You shouldn’t have to provide a cultural crash course before we can get to work. I work with clients across cultures, identities, and relationship structures, including people of color, LGBTQ+ clients, children of immigrants, and people navigating non-monogamy and polyamory.
Your context matters. It informs how we understand your experiences without becoming the only thing we talk about.
Boundaries, People-Pleasing & Living on Your Own Terms
If you’re exhausted from managing everyone else’s expectations, we’ll look at where those patterns came from and what they’re costing you now. Together, we’ll work on boundaries, self-trust, and making choices that actually feel like yours.
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in clinical expertise. You can expect a therapist who will listen closely, tell you what I’m noticing, and work with you to create change, not just insight.
The goal isn't to become a different person. It’s to feel more like yourself, without old patterns running the show.
